Hi, I am Dave Todd, and that is my wife Jane. I have been a keen photographer since the day I held my first Kodak Brownie camera back in the 1960's. When I saw my first prints, I was hooked on trying to capture the very best photos I could (without the old thumb over the lens as kids often do). When I was old enough to buy my first SLR camera (a Canon EOS 35 mm film version) I entered the world of true photography, having the ability to change the lenses and settings on the camera to achieve desired shots.

I love to travel and photgraph everything around me. I also love fishing and spotting whales (although i didn't spot that one with her new born babe until they were right beside my tinnie...oh yeah....very exciting, if not a little scary).

The era of digital photography is very exciting. Digital cameras now allow us to view our images in real time and let us make on the spot adjustments to get that best photo in the available lighting and environment. Post editing can also be done (if needed) on a computer to enhance the photos and add special effects.

I have taught photography, digital image editing and multimedia production for more than 8 years.
